'ChiefsAholic' ordered to pay $10.8 million in connection to Oklahoma bank robbery
A judge ruled on Wednesday that Xaviar Michael Babudar, also known as Kansas City Chiefs superfan "ChiefsAholic", will have to pay $10.8 million in damages afte Xaviar Michael Babudar, aka "ChiefsAholic", has been ordered to pay $10.8 million in damages after pleading guilty to a bank robbery in Oklahoma. He stole $139,000 from Tulsa Teachers Federal Credit Union and admitted to holding a bank employee at gunpoint and threatening to shoot them if they did not open the vault. The victim claims that BabUDar intentionally inflicted emotional distress. A judge ruled that the victim will be awarded $1.6 million in losses, $2 million in emotional damages, and $7.2M in punitive damages.

A judge ruled on Wednesday that Xaviar Michael Babudar, also known as Kansas City Chiefs superfan "ChiefsAholic", will have to pay $10.8 million in damages after pleading guilty to a bank robbery.
Babudar pleaded guilty in February to stealing $139,000 from Tulsa Teachers Federal Credit Union in Bixby, Oklahoma on Dec. 16, 2022.
He also admitted he held a bank employee at gunpoint, ordered the employee to open the vault, and told the workers if they did not comply he would shoot them, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office Western District of Missouri.

The victim who was held at gunpoint claims Babudar intentionally inflicted emotional distress.
A judge ruled on Wednesday the victim will be awarded $1.6 million in losses, $2 million in emotional damages, and $7.2 million in punitive damages, totaling $10.8 million.
