The home course for Oklahoma State, Karsten Creek opened in May 1994 and was designed by Tom Fazio, and Travel & Leisure Golf magazine has ranked it as the best college course in the nation. It is named after golf club designer and businessman Karsten Solheim, the founder of Karsten Manufacturing.
Designed by famed golf course architect Perry Maxwell, who is known as the father of Oklahoma golf, Jimmie Austin opened in 1951. A renovation of the course was completed in 1996 with the financial help of OU supporters, most notably Jimmie Austin.
Cherokee Hills is an extension of hotel and casino Hard Rock Tulsa, making it a great place to not just play golf but also have some fun before and after a round of play.
Nestled on Monkey Island at Grand Lake, Shangri-La Golf Club & Resort has a 27-hole championship course along with a new 18-hole par 3-course known as the Battlefield.
