Power outage affecting thousands in north Tulsa

Power restoration in the largest area was projected to be 2 p.m., according to PSO's outage map. Thousands of Public Service Co. of Oklahoma (PSO) customers in northern Tulsa have been hit by a power outage, affecting about 6,600 of the company's customers. The affected area stretches from north of Pine Street east and west of U.S. 75. Power restoration is expected to occur at 2 p.m. Some Tulsa Public Schools have reported some school sites impacted by the outage.

Thousands of PSO customers in northern sections of Tulsa have been affected by a power outage.

An outage map on the Public Service Co. of Oklahoma's website showed about 6,600 of its customers were without power at around 12:50 p.m. Thursday. The impacted area stretched from north of Pine Street east and west of U.S. 75.

Power restoration in the largest area was projected to be 2 p.m., according to PSO's outage map.

Tulsa Public Schools said some of its school sites were impacted by the outage.
