OIGA has announced plans to host its Conference and Trade Show in Tulsa from August 14, 2023, to August 16, 2023. The team is estimated to welcome over 3,000 vendors, guest speakers, and visitors to Cox Business Convention Center. Also known as the biggest little show in Indian Gaming, Conference and Trade Show aims to celebrate the industry and carry forward its attempts at wide adoption.

Interested participants can register for the event via the Internet or by choosing to download the form from the official website. While online registrations have started, downloadable forms will be rolled out soon, with no tentative date available at the time of drafting this article.

A list of sessions and agendas is yet to go live on the platform. The same can be expected to become available simultaneously with the registration forms going live for Conference and Trade Show.

According to basic details, one of the most anticipated gaming conferences will begin with a warm reception, followed by a Poker Tournament. Sessions will officially commence on Wednesday, with the Trade Show floor opening early during that day. It will enable participants to connect and construct a productive network among themselves.

Conference and trade shows will also have an award ceremony followed by a casual meal.

This year’s highlight, however, is the golf tournament to benefit the John Marley Scholarship Fund. It will open the day before the event, giving all the players a chance to catch up with old friends. Registration form and tournament sponsorship form are live on the official platform of OIGA.

Interested participants are encouraged to book a room maximum by July 10, 2023. The room rate is $128 for every night at Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. Those who are not able to make it to the event are advised to inform the team in advance so that the room can be allotted to the next participant.

OIGA, short for Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association, was founded in 1986 as a Non-Profit organization. It housed Indian Nations and other associate nations with the objective of better representing the association at all levels. The purpose is to advance the cause of Indian people in terms of politics, social life, and economic conditions.

According to the latest gaming news, the mission of OIGA is to promote the welfare of the tribes by developing practices and policies that are sound and well-crafted to support the Indian Tribes. OIGA is tasked with educating the governments – state, federal, & tribal – about issues pertaining to tribal government gaming.

One of the developments that strengthen the position of OIGA in the region is the impact on the economic output of the state from operations and construction. Per the announcement by OIGA itself, the same is estimated to be around $7.2 million, out of which 60% is in rural areas.
