Tulsa man faces manslaughter charge after deadly crash
Tulsa police say 47-year-old Christopher Hart chased Roy Deaver before Deaver ran into the street and was fatally struck by a box truck on October 23. A 47-year-old man is expected to face a manslaughter charge for allegedly chasing another man into the street, where he was hit and killed by a box truck. The victim, Roy Deaver, was found in the roadway and pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified the suspect as Christopher Hart and Deaver. Deaver had confronted Hart and two others who had parked outside Johnny's Auto Sales after hours. Police say Hart started chasing Deaver off and then returned to his car and left the scene the following day. Hart was initially arrested on existing warrants and later booked into the Rogers County Jail. He will be charged with Manslaughter in connection with Deaver's death.
