Mark your calendar so you can shop local and support small businesses at these recurring events. The annual summer events include farmers markets, food truck days, and free open-air concerts at Utica Square in Tulsa. Shop from local farmers and artisans at the Downtown Tulsa Midweek Market from 5-8 p.m. every Wednesday through June 26. Food trucks will provide a wide range of food vendors, including Andolini’s Pizzeria, Pita Place Mediterranean Grill, The Okie Lemon, The Bayou, Bondi Bowls Tulsa, MASA and Manila Ice. The Starlight Band is performing a different theme every Tuesday through July 16 at Guthrie Green, 111 Reconciliation Way. The 27th season of the Tulsa Farmers Market is underway. The Rose District Farmers Market in downtown Broken Arrow is open from April to October and will continue until October.

The Starlight Band is presenting a different theme every Tuesday through July 16 at Guthrie Green, 111 Reconciliation Way. Conducted by Artistic Director Jeremy Parker, “Forged in Fire” will explore all things metal in a concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
Founded in 1947, the Starlight Band is not only one of Oklahoma’s oldest performing institutions, it’s also Oklahoma’s only professional concert band and one of the oldest in the nation. The Starlight Band boasts up to 50 musicians from Signature Symphony, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra and Bartlesville Symphony, as well as music educators from area schools and universities. Food trucks from Marshall’s Family Catering and Josh’s Sno Shack will be on site this week.
