Here is the latest announcements of businesses other than restaurants and bars that have opened, are about to open or have closed in the Tulsa metro.

The long-planned Tulsa Premium Outlets in Jenks will have a grand opening on Aug. 15, the mall’s developer, Simon Property Group said last week.

Simon also announced several brands that will be located at the mall:

BOSS, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Vinyard Vines, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie, Carhartt, Coach, Crocs, Janie & Jack, Levi’s, New Balance, Puma, Ulta and Under Armour.

Previously announced brands joining the mall include Tory Burch, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Columbia Sportswear, Vera Bradley, Los Cabos Little Kitchen and Camp Pickle.

According to Camp Pickle publicity information, the restaurant will have a 1940s summer camp motif with pickleball courts, duckpin bowling and darts.

The mall has been in the planning stages since 2018 but was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain issues that followed.

Tulsa Premium Outlets will consist of more than 330,000 square feet of retail, entertainment, fast-casual restaurants, and amenities. The expansive center will be home to more than 75 shops and eateries.

Burlington Stores, Inc., a national discount clothing and accessories retailer, is opening a new store in Tulsa Hills shopping center in west Tulsa.

The new store, 7410 S. Olympia Ave., will have a grand opening on June 21, and will offer giveaways that day and over that weekend.

Store hours will be 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

On June 21 and June 22 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the first 100 customers, age 18 and older can receive a $10 bonus card to be used toward their purchase.

On June 23, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella, while supplies last; no purchase necessary.

The new store brings the number of stores in the state to 13.

The Michaels craft store at 11119 E. 71st St. recently held a grand reopening.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily except Sundays, when hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“The new store is a sleeker, simpler Michaels featuring self-checkout registers, a Michaels custom framing center, and a curated assortment of the most popular supplies and componentry across arts, crafts, framing, floral, kids’ crafts, DIY, yarn, beading, and scrapbooking to inspire creativity in the surrounding community,” according to a news release.

Michaels will open several new stores with this updated format featuring self-service “Buy Online Pick-Up In Store” and curbside pickup, the company said.

The new format “represents Michaels’ ongoing innovations across every facet of the business to bring customers a more seamless shopping experience,” the release said.

The store temporarily closed in 2023 after an underground pipe flooded it, officials said.

Scenthound, a wellness-focused dog care service whose primary goal is to keep dogs clean, healthy and happy, will be opening its newest location 8222 E 103rd St. in Tulsa.
