Tulsa Church Equipped with L-Acoustics L-ISA System
[caption id="attachment_393226" align="alignnone" width="800"] L-Acoustics L-ISA allows Asbury Church to quickly transition between different spatial scenes for its contemporary and traditional services with the push of a button[/caption] TULSA, OK... Asbury Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has installed a full-surround L-Acoustics L-ISA immersive hyperreal sound system for its congregation. The system includes L2D, Kiva II, KS21i and X Series elements, giving the church one system for a choir-and-orchestra service and a worship band 90 minutes later. The previous system was reaching its end, and the room itself had dead spots, areas where high frequencies disappeared, and pockets of power where hangs overlapped. DC PRO CEO Daniel Connell and his team identified L-ACoustics in its full Immersive Hyperreal configuration, including frontal arrays for localization and surrounds to allow sound objects to move around the room. The new system allows a different spatial scene at once, allowing the congregation to recall a different scene at a given time.
