Tulsa engineer and childhood burn survivor launches fitness app
Tulsa engineer and burn survivor Kevon Martorell created Adapt & Triumph, an app with workouts and recipes for people with disabilities. Kevon Martorell, a 26-year-old engineer and app designer from Tulsa, has overcome more physical trauma than most people experience in a lifetime. He lost part of his right leg due to injuries sustained at 18 months old, including third-degree burns on 80% of his body. Martorello now walks with a hands-free adaptive crutch and has developed Adapt & Triumph, a fitness app with workouts and recipes designed for all. The app includes a range of exercises and more than 400-year recipes. Despite a job rejection after his recovery, Martorelli found success and joy playing high school football and basketball.
