Outbound Tulsa International Airport travelers should arrive at least two hours early due to long wait times after security equipment went down on Monday.

"TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is still experiencing longer wait times due to some of their equipment being down and having to reduce the number of screening lanes open," the airport said in a social media post at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.

"They have had technicians onsite since (Monday) working to resolve the issue.

"With the number of flights departing before 11 a.m., we suggest allowing at least two hours to get through the security checkpoint. We will continue to update you as we receive information," the airport said.
