MWDRS Racing Recap: Thrills at Tulsa Raceway
The MWDRS pulled off the Tulsa Triple. Three days, three races, here's a recap of the action and who picked up wins. The Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) held a three-day event at Tulsa Raceway Park, with Hurricane Motorsports' Kye Kelley winning the first race and claiming the No. 1 qualifying spot for the Throwdown in T-Town race. The second race was won by Stevie Jackson, driving the KTR SF1-C-powered “Purple Heart” owned by Jeff and Dave Pierce. The first time this season, the series invited the Pro Extreme Pro Mods out to compete. No. 2 qualifier Macy Higgins won the first round against Matthew Hill, setting up a final-round matchup against No. 9 qualifier Brian Lewis.
