Dodgers pitcher Edgardo Henriquez continued his climb up the minor league ladder, getting promoted to Double-A Tulsa on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old right-hander turned heads during spring training by throwing in triple digits in the spring breakout game against Angels minor leaguers in Tempe on March 16, and continued to make up for lost time ever since, after Tommy John surgery wiped out his 2023 season.

Henriquez began the season in Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, and was promoted to Great Lakes on May 8. In between the two levels he has an eye-popping 48.9-percent strikeout rate, with 46 strikeouts and 11 walks in 22⅔ innings, with a 2.38 ERA.

He’s eligible for the Rule 5 Draft, so don’t be surprised if he finds his way on the Dodgers 40-man roster by November.

Outfielder Damon Keith missed two months on the injured list before returning to Tulsa’s roster last week. Before this week, Keith played in five games — opening day April 5, then four games last week — but all of those were on the road.

So when he finally got a home at-bat at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Keith made the best of it on Tuesday, hitting a two-run, walk-off single to cap a Drillers comeback win.

A pair of four-run innings were more than enough in Oklahoma City’s rout of the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Astros).

Drew Avans had three hits, stole a base, and scored three runs out of the leadoff spot, and also drove in two. Kody Hoese also had three hits, including an RBI double an RBI single.

Down two runs in the ninth, Tulsa rallied for three runs to stun the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners).

The Drillers did not make an out in the ninth. Jose Ramos walked, then Brendon Davis singled, and Ramos stole third base. Bubba Alleyne doubled home a run to pull Tulsa within one, putting runners on second and third base for Keith’s walk-off single.

Tulsa’s first two runs in the game came on solo home runs by Dalton Rushing and reigning Texas League player of the week Austin Beck.

Justin Wrobleski allowed two runs in his start, with four strikeouts and a walk, the latter keeping his strikeout-to-walk ratio on the season at an excellent 4.83. The somewhat surprising part was that Wrobleski, who leads the Dodgers minors with 60⅔ innings, only pitched four frames on Tuesday, matching his shortest start of the season (April 30).

Juan Morillo struck out all three batters he faced in the ninth inning to earn the win in relief.

The Loons lost a one-run game to the Dayton Dragons (Reds).

Payton Martin was wild in his High-A debut, walking three of his nine batters faced, and recorded only five outs in his start. He pitched a perfect first inning on only eight pitches, but needed 31 pitches to get two outs in the second. He only allowed one run, as he left with the bases loaded but all were stranded.

Brandon Neeck escaped that second-inning jam but then allowed three runs, including two home runs in 3⅓ innings.

Dylan Campbell and Kyle Nevin each had two hits and scored a run. Nevin also drove in a run. Noah Miller and Jake Gelof each doubled and drove in a run in the loss.

Three runs in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh sent the Quakes to a loss to the Fresno Grizzlies (Rockies).

Starter Cam Day struck out six in his four innings, allowing two runs (one earned).

Triple-A: Right-hander Jack Little was promoted from to Oklahoma City after a 2.18 ERA, 23 strikeouts (27.7-percent rate) and five walks in 20⅔ innings.

Double-A: Catcher/first baseman Griffin Lockwood-Powell was activated after missing 10 games on the injured list. Right-hander Ben Harris is back after a week and a half on the temporary inactive list Edgardo Henriquez was promoted from Great Lakes. Pitcher Yon Castro was released; a minor league Rule 5 Draft selection by the Dodgers in December 2022, Castro had an 8.10 ERA in 20 innings this season, allowing 18 runs with 15 walks and 18 strikeouts.

High-A: Outfielder Dylan Campbell was activated after missing six games on the injured list. Right-hander Jeisson Cabrera was sent down from Tulsa to Great Lakes after a 3.52 ERA in six games in Double-A, with more walks (10) than strikeouts (eight).
