OSBI assists Okmulgee police after woman shot during home invasion
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) says it is assisting the Okmulgee Police Department with a shooting investigation stemming from an incident on The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is assisting the Okmulgee Police Department in a shooting investigation after a 67-year-old woman was found with an apparent gunshot wound and a 2-year old child inside the home during a home invasion on Oct. 19, 2026. The incident is believed to be connected to a previous shooting that occurred on Oct 18 at a home in the 1600 block of North Chickasaw Avenue in Okmulugee. No arrests have been made and OSBI is working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to investigate both incidents.
